A NOTE FROM KAPPA ALPHA THETA:
Dear Potential New Member,
510 on West Park Ave is so much more than just a house. To over 200 women, it serves as a home away from home, a place where we can truly be ourselves, feel supported, and continue to grow into who we want to become. For so many of us, Theta has been there through some of our most challenging moments. There is something incredibly special about being surrounded by women who uplift you, push you beyond your limits, and stand by you when you need it most. This kind of sisterhood is rare, and it’s something that stays with you forever.
Established on October 18, 1924, the Beta Nu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Florida State University has been thriving for over a century. Our legacy began in 1870 with a group of determined women who believed in empowering one another, and that mission continues to guide us today. Within our chapter, we strive for excellence in academics, personal growth, social connection, and service, especially through our philanthropy, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). We are constantly encouraging each other to become the best versions of ourselves.
When we joined Theta, we hoped to make an impact, but we never could have imagined how much this chapter would impact us in return. We are endlessly grateful for the women who have shaped us, supported us, and continue to inspire us every single day.
To the women who came before us, thank you for showing us what true sisterhood looks like, how to lead with confidence, persevere through challenges, and always lift each other up. Because of you, we are committed to leaving behind a legacy rooted in love, strength, and empowerment.
To the women who are yet to come, we are so excited to welcome you with open arms. We cannot wait to see you find your place within our chapter and grow into everything you aspire to be, just as we have.
