The Kappa Alpha Chapter of Kappa Delta, founded on November 11, 1904, has a legacy spanning an impressive 119 years. As the oldest Panhellenic chapter at Florida State University, we take immense pride in our rich history and enduring traditions. Our sisterhood is built upon the shared values that unite Kappa Delta sisters nationwide—lifetime learning, personal integrity, altruistic service, truth, and loyalty. These values serve as the foundation of our chapter, guiding us in our daily lives as we strive to uphold what is honorable, beautiful, and highest. More than just words, these principles are put into action as we inspire confidence in ourselves and those around us.

At the Kappa Alpha Chapter, our passion for confidence-building extends to our national platform, the Confidence Coalition, and our philanthropic initiatives, including Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA) and the Children’s Home Society of Florida. Membership in Kappa Delta is more than just joining a sorority—it is an opportunity for personal growth, leadership, and academic excellence, all while fostering a culture of confidence in others. Our philanthropic efforts empower children to reach their full potential, ensuring they grow up in safe, nurturing environments where they can thrive and build a brighter future.
