A NOTE FROM GAMMA PHI BETA:

Founded in 1874 at Syracuse University, Gamma Phi Beta has a long-standing tradition of sisterhood, leadership, and personal growth. Seventy-six years later, in April 1950, the Beta Mu Chapter was established here at Florida State University, and ever since, we have been a home for women who uplift and inspire one another to be the best versions of themselves.

At Gamma Phi Beta, our mission is to build confident women of character who make a difference in the world. Through our core values—love, Labor, Learning, and Loyalty—we encourage each other to pursue excellence, foster enduring friendships, uphold integrity, and embrace lifelong commitment to our sisterhood. This chapter is more than just an organization; it is a support system that encourages personal and academic growth while motivating members to chase their passions.

Gamma Phi Beta has given us more than we could have ever imagined. It has shaped our college experience, provided us with friendships that will last a lifetime, and instilled in us the confidence to take on the world.
